The shop is right by Sheetla Chowk in the Main Bazar here in Rani. It gets pretty loud outside with all the people walking by and the bikes honking. We’ve been sitting here for a good while now, mostly dealing with mobile recharges and fixing small things on people’s phones. Sometimes the internet is slow and we just wait it out. It is a small space but it fits everything we need. Most of the folks who come in are from around the neighborhood. They stop by for a chat while we look at their devices. We open up in the morning after the market starts waking up. There is a lot of dust sometimes because of the traffic, so we spend a lot of time wiping the glass counters. It isn't anything fancy. Just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of wires everywhere. Most days are busy, especially during the festival times when everyone wants a new SIM card or a screen protector. We keep a stock of chargers and cables in the back corner. Sometimes the tea guy comes by twice a day and we take a break. It's just how things go here in the bazaar. we know most of the regular faces. If you walk past the chowk, you will see our sign. It's been there long enough that the paint is starting to fade a bit. We just keep doing what we do every day. It feels like a second home to us. We might not have all the newest gadgets the big city shops have, but we have what people here need.
