Shree Nath Communication is located over on Meera Marg, right where the Gandhi Murti stands. It’s a pretty busy spot and the traffic noise is constant from morning until late at night. I spend most of my time behind the small glass counter, usually looking at broken phone screens or trying to figure out why a charging port isn't working right. The shop is narrow and the walls are lined with all sorts of plastic covers and cables that I’ve tried to organize by color, though they always get mixed up. Meera Marg is always full of people, especially in the evening, so there is always someone popping in to ask for a recharge or a new screen guard. I have a small stool I sit on, and the floor is just simple tiles that I have to mop every day because of the dust. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when three or four people are inside at once. I keep a small notebook for writing down the repairs that I need to finish by the next day. It’s not a fancy office, just a simple place for mobile work. I usually have a cup of tea from the stall next door while I work on the phones. Most of the people who come here are regulars from the local neighborhood. I’ve been at this location for a few years now and I’ve gotten used to the noise and the busy pace.
