Shiv Enterprises

Shiv Enterprises is located right on the main Ranakpur Road. It is a busy stretch of pavement, especially when the tourists are passing through to see the temples. Most of our work involves dealing with the local folks who live around here though. We handle a bit of everything, mostly supplies that people need for their homes or small projects. The shop stays open pretty late most nights because that is when people finally have time to stop by after their own work is done. It can get quite dusty with all the trucks driving past, so we spend a lot of time just cleaning off the shelves. The building itself is older, but it holds up well against the sun. We have some heavy items stacked in the back and smaller things near the front counter where it’s easier to reach. There is usually a tea stall nearby, so the smell of chai is always drifting in through the door. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure things get moved to where they need to go. Sometimes the deliveries are late, and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow, which they usually don't mind too much. It is just the way things work on this side of town. We keep track of everything in big ledgers. It’s a lot of manual work, but it keeps us busy and the community seems to appreciate having a place like this nearby.
