The shop is right in the middle of Rani Pratap Bazar, which is always a loud and busy place to be. We mostly spend our time looking at tiny screws and cracked glass under a magnifying lamp. Sayyad Mobile Point started small and it stays that way because we like being able to talk to whoever walks through the door. Most people come in because they dropped their phone or the battery isn't holding a charge like it used to. We don't have a big corporate setup here, just a counter and some stools for customers to sit on while they wait. Rani Pratap Bazar is full of movement and noise, so there is never a quiet moment at the front. Sometimes we spend the whole afternoon just explaining how a certain feature works or helping someone find a charger that actually fits their old phone. We keep a lot of tempered glass and different cases on the walls. It gets a bit crowded when three or four people are inside at once, but that is how it goes in this market. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to get people's screens fixed so they can get back to their day. It’s a lot of sitting and focused eye work, but seeing someone's face when their phone turns back on is alright. We have been at this spot for a good bit now and we know the neighbors well.
