Sanjay Light Decoration

Being in Rani Main Bazar means there is never a quiet moment during the day. Our shop is called Sanjay Light Decoration and we spend most of our time untangling long wires and checking small bulbs. When the festival season starts, things get really crazy around here and we barely have time to sit down. We have strings of lights everywhere, some hanging from the ceiling and others piled in big plastic crates in the corners. Rani Main Bazar is always crowded with people buying groceries or clothes, so our shop is right in the middle of all that noise and activity. Sometimes we have to go out to set up lights for weddings or small parties nearby. Carrying heavy ladders and bags of bulbs through the narrow bazar streets is quite a chore. We don't have a big fancy office, just a small room filled with colorful lights and rolls of black wire. It gets a bit dusty with all the people walking by on the street outside. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we test the strings to make sure every single bulb is working. It’s tedious work sometimes, sitting there for hours checking one light at a time. The neighbors are nice though, and we often share some tea during the quiet afternoons before the evening rush starts. We've been at this location for a long time and everyone in the bazar knows where to find us. It’s a simple life of lights and wires.
