Sangeeta Tent House

We have been running Sangeeta Tent House on Ramdev Road for quite some time now. Our storage is full of colorful cloths, poles, and lighting equipment. It is a lot of work to keep everything maintained. After a big wedding, the linens are often stained or torn, so we spend days washing and sewing things back together. Ramdev Road is a good location, plenty of space for our trucks to park and load up. We usually start our work very early in the morning to beat the afternoon sun. Tying up the high corners of a tent is tricky when the wind is blowing hard. My sons help me with the setups and the heavy lifting. We don’t use a computer for our bookings, just a simple diary where we write everything down in pen. Sometimes we forget to cross things out, which causes a bit of a scramble. But we always manage to get the job done. It’s not a glamorous life, dealing with mud and heavy metal, but it’s what we know. People around here trust us to show up on time and get the tent up. We’ve done hundreds of events on this side of town. When the lights go on at night and the tent looks bright, it feels like we did something good for the family. Then the next morning, we take it all down and start over again. That is just how the tent business works for us every day on Ramdev Road.
