Rupam Mobile Shop

The shop is right by the Old Bus Stand, so it gets pretty busy when the buses pull in. Most of the time it is just us sitting here waiting for someone who needs a screen fixed or a new charger because they left theirs at home. We have been in this spot for a while now. It’s a small space, barely enough room for three people to stand inside at once. You can hear the conductors shouting destinations all day long. It gets dusty with all the traffic. We keep the glass cases wiped down, but the dust always comes back by noon. Sometimes people just stop in to ask for directions since we are so close to the station. We sell basic things, mostly stuff for older phones and some new covers that look nice. My brother helps out on the weekends when it gets crowded. The fan on the ceiling makes a clicking sound but it keeps us cool enough during the summer heat. We don't have a big sign, just the one over the door that has been there for years. It’s a plain way to live. We open early because that is when the first buses start moving. By evening, we are usually tired and just want to close up and go home to eat. If you walk past the old ticket counter, you will see us right there. It is not a fancy place but it does what it needs to for the travelers.
