Reliance Communition

Being located near Gandhi Murti at Ahinsa Circle 1 means there is always noise from the traffic. Reliance Communition is right at number 1, so we see everyone passing through the circle. We deal with recharge coupons, new SIM cards, and people asking why their internet isn't working right. It’s a small space, mostly taken up by the counter and a couple of stools for people to sit on while they wait for their paperwork to go through. The walls have some old posters that have faded over the summer. I spend a lot of time on the phone talking to distributors or helping someone figure out a data plan. It’s not a complicated business, but it keeps me on my feet. Sometimes the network is slow and we both just have to sit there staring at the screen until it loads. Those are the times we talk about the local news or the new construction down the road. The tea shop next door brings over a cup every morning, which helps start the day. We don't have a big staff, usually just me or my cousin sitting here. It gets hot in the afternoons because the sun hits the front window directly, so we keep the fan on full speed. It’s a basic shop for basic needs, nothing more and nothing less.
