Raj Mobile Center

Marwar is where we set up Raj Mobile Center, and it has been an interesting experience watching how fast technology moves. We sit behind a glass counter most of the day, surrounded by boxes of new phones and racks of plastic cases. People in Marwar come to us when they can't get their internet to work or when they need a new screen protector put on without any bubbles. It’s a steady job that requires a lot of patience and steady hands. We aren't a big chain store, so we can take the time to actually talk to people about what they need. Some days are just spent doing recharges for people who don't like using the apps themselves. The shop is small, and in the summer, it gets quite warm inside despite the fan. We keep a stock of different cables and headphones because those always seem to break at the worst time. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. Word usually gets around if you do a decent job fixing a broken charging port. It is a lot of looking at small parts and trying to keep the dust out of the sensitive electronics. We just try to keep things running for the local folks who depend on their devices for everything these days. It’s a simple life in a busy part of town, really. Just trying to keep phones working as they should.
