Rafi Watch & Mobile Reparing

My name is Rafi and I have this little shop for watch and mobile repairing in Mahadev Gali. It’s a narrow lane in Falna, so you have to look for it. I’ve been fixing things for a long time. Watches are my favorite because they have so many tiny parts. I have to use a magnifying glass to see the gears. Lately, though, more people bring in mobiles with broken speakers or charging ports. I have a small workbench with a bright lamp and all my tools spread out. It looks like a mess to other people, but I know exactly where my screwdrivers and tweezers are. The shop is quiet compared to the main road, which helps me concentrate. Sometimes an old man will bring in a watch that’s fifty years old, and it takes me a few days to find the right part for it. I like the challenge. I don't have any assistants, so if I’m not here, the shop is closed. I try to be honest with people about whether something can be fixed or if it’s better to just buy a new one. I drink a lot of tea while I work. It’s a slow kind of business, but I enjoy working with my hands. People in Mahadev Gali know me as the guy who can fix just about anything small. I've been in this same spot for twelve years now and the neighbors are all very friendly. We all help each other out when someone needs a tool or a hand.
