So we are down in Zarda Bazar, right near Badhshah Ka Zhanda. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze around here with all the shops pushed together. Prayam STD Mobile Shop has been the name for a long time, even if people don’t really use STD booths like they used to. We mostly deal with phones now, fixing screens or selling those little plastic cases that everyone wants. The shop is small and can get pretty dusty with the wind blowing through the bazaar, but we keep things moving. We open up pretty early once the tea stall next door starts his stove. Most of our day is just sitting behind the counter talking to people who drop by. Some are regulars from the neighborhood who just want to chat, and others are in a hurry because their phone died. The flag landmark helps people find us because the lanes here can get confusing if you aren't from this part of town. We don’t have any fancy displays or anything like that. Just a couple of glass counters and some shelves piled up with boxes. It gets hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is. We try to get the repairs done while people wait, if it’s a simple thing. It’s just a normal shop in a busy market, trying to keep the phones working for everyone who walks through the door.
