Pareek Marbles

Pareek Marbles is located right on College Road. You can’t really miss the stacks of stone sitting out front near the entrance. We spend a lot of our time moving heavy slabs around and showing people the different patterns in the rock. It gets a bit dusty here, but that’s just how it is when you work with marble and granite all day long. The road gets busy with students and cars going by, but we’ve been here long enough that we don't really notice the traffic anymore. Our yard isn't the biggest in the world, but we manage to pack a lot of inventory into it. We have different types of stone coming in on big trucks quite often. Usually, someone is here to help lift things or measure a piece for a customer who stopped by. It's heavy, physical work. We wear boots and old clothes because things get dirty pretty fast. My hands are always covered in stone dust by noon. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights and air conditioning. It’s more of a practical space where people come to see exactly what we have in stock. Some days are quiet, and we just tidy up the stacks or sweep the floor. Other days, it’s a lot of loading and unloading. We like being on College Road. It’s easy for people to find us. We keep a simple ledger for our orders. It’s a straightforward business.
