Aravali Impex

Being located right on National Highway-14 means we hear the trucks and cars passing by all day and night. Aravali Impex is basically a place where things come and go. It’s a bit of a dusty spot sometimes because of the heavy road traffic, but it’s a convenient place for getting goods moved across the state. We have a warehouse area and a small office where the ceiling fans never seem to stop spinning. My desk is usually covered in bills and transport receipts. We deal with imports and exports, mostly handling the logistics of moving items from one place to another. It’s not a glamorous job by any means. You spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers or checking if a container has arrived at the port yet. Sometimes the tea stall next door is the only break we get in a long, busy afternoon. The heat can be a lot to handle, especially when we are out on the loading dock checking crates. We have a few guys who have been with us since the very start. They know how everything works. We don’t use any fancy software for everything; a lot of it is still written down in big ledgers because that’s just how we like to do it. The highway keeps us connected to the rest of the world. When the sun sets, the lights from the passing trucks keep the place glowing. It’s just a regular business trying to stay on top of the daily grind and making sure the crates are moved on time.
