It has been a while since we started Papu Tent House over at Rangnia Mohalla 38. People around here usually come by when they have a wedding or some small function at home and need extra space or covers. We mostly handle things like setting up the tents, fixing the lights, and making sure the floor mats are clean enough for guests to sit on. The weather can be tough on the fabric sometimes, so we spend a lot of our mornings checking for tears or dust. My cousin and I usually handle the loading and unloading from the truck ourselves. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is out, but that is just how it goes in this business. We don't have a big office or anything fancy, just the storage space here in the neighborhood. Sometimes the poles get stuck or a rope snaps, but we carry spares to fix things on the spot. Most neighbors know where to find us if they need a few chairs or a big canopy for a rainy day. It is mostly local work, nothing too far away. We try to keep the gear organized, though it gets messy after a busy weekend. If you walk down the lane past the old shop, you will see our sign. We are usually around tinkering with the poles or folding up the heavy cloths. It isn't a complex job, just about being there when someone needs a roof over their party.
