Om Electric & Decoraters

We are located at Housing Board Kamla Nehru Nagar 2 K-H 9. Om Electric & Decoraters is basically a small operation run by me and a few local guys. We handle electrical repairs and also do some decoration work for parties and small events. It’s a bit of a mix of different jobs. One day I’m fixing someone’s ceiling fan or doing some house wiring, and the next day we are putting up cloth drapes and lights for a birthday party. It keeps things interesting for us. The shop is actually part of our house area here in the housing board. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part. We’ve lived here for a long time, so most of the neighbors know us well. We don't have any big signs or advertisements outside. If someone has a fuse blow out or needs some lights for a small function at home, they just come over and knock on the door. I have a couple of guys who help when the work is too much for one person to handle. We have our tools and some decor items stored in the back room. It’s not a polished or fancy business, just us helping out with what we know. We try to be fair and honest with people. Sometimes the work takes longer than we expected because old wiring can be very tricky. We just deal with it as it comes. It’s a simple life here.
