We are right near the bus stand in Sheoganj, so there is never a quiet moment at Nikita Cumumication. You can hear the conductors shouting destinations all day long. It’s a lot of noise but you get used to it after a week or two. Travelers come in looking for a quick fix or a recharge before they catch their next ride. The floor gets muddy when it rains because the bus stand area doesn't drain very well. We spend a lot of time wiping down the glass counters. There are always people leaning against the front looking at their watches. We try to keep things moving because nobody wants to miss their bus. The shop is small and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but it works for us. We have been at this Sheoganj spot for a bit and we know most of the drivers who pass through. Sometimes they come in for a bit of shade. It’s a hectic place to work but it’s never boring. You see people from all over the district coming and going. We keep the lights on late because the buses don't stop until midnight. It is a simple life of helping folks with their phones and staying out of the heat when we can. The ceiling fan makes a clicking noise but we just ignore it now.
