You can find Maa Ashapura Mobiles on the Ranakpur Desuri Road in Sadri. It’s a busy road with a lot of motorcycles and trucks passing by all day. I mostly deal with mobile repairs and selling accessories. People drop off their phones with broken buttons or charging ports that don't work anymore. I use a magnifying glass and a soldering iron to fix the tiny parts inside. It takes a lot of patience and my eyes get tired after a few hours. I also sell second-hand phones for people who don't want to spend too much on a brand-new one. The walls are covered with different types of phone covers and screen protectors. It’s a small shop, so I have to use every bit of wall space I have. Sometimes people stop in just to ask for directions because of where we are located on the main road. I don't mind helping out. The shop gets quite dusty because of the road traffic, so I’m always wiping down the glass counters. I keep a small temple of Maa Ashapura in the corner and light an incense stick every morning when I open. Business goes up and down, but there’s always someone who has dropped their phone in water or needs a new memory card for their music. It is a steady job and I enjoy the technical work involved in every repair.
