Our shop is located in Rani Achal Market, which is a pretty busy spot over in Pratap Bazar. We spend most of our days looking at tiny screws and broken glass screens. People come in with phones that took a bad fall or maybe just stopped charging for no reason at all. It gets quite dusty in here with the doors open to the market all day, but that is just how it is. We have some new handsets on the shelf and heaps of different chargers tucked in the back. Sometimes the internet is slow when we try to test things out, so we just wait it out with a cup of tea. It is not a fancy place, just a simple counter and some stools for when people want to sit while we check their battery life. Most folks around here know us because we have been in this market for a good while now. We keep busy with the regular repairs, mostly screen swaps and fixing those little charging ports that always seem to break. There is always a lot of noise and chatter from the other shops nearby, which keeps things from getting too boring. Sometimes we run out of a specific part and have to wait for the delivery guy to show up from the city, but usually, we have what we need in the drawers. It is just work, day in and day out, helping folks get their phones back in their pockets. (257 words)
