Laxmi Communication

Laxmi Communication is located in the Main Market area on Sojat Road. It is right in the heart of the local shopping area. We do a lot of small things here. People come in to recharge their phones or to get a new SIM card when they lose theirs. We also sell some cheap headsets and phone covers. The shop is very small, so if three or four people come in at once, it feels completely full. We have posters for all the different mobile networks on the glass front. Most of them are a bit faded from the sun hitting them all day. It is a busy spot, especially on the weekends when people from the nearby villages come to the market for their weekly shopping. I spend my day sitting behind the counter. I have a small computer for the recharges and the paperwork. Sometimes the network is down and we have to tell people to come back in an hour. That is just how it is in this area. We also keep some cold water and soda in a small fridge for the customers who are waiting. It is a simple business. I do not have any big plans to expand the shop or anything like that. I just like being in the market and talking to the people who stop by. Most of them are regulars who come every month. We talk about the crops or the local news while the recharge goes through. It keeps me connected to what is happening around Sojat Road.
