Kishore Kumar Mobile Wala is located in the Dhan Mandi area of Sheoganj. It’s right in the middle of where all the grain trading happens, so it’s a very busy part of town. I opened this shop because everyone, from the farmers to the traders, needs a working phone these days. We sell mobile phones, mostly the basic ones that last a long time, and we do a lot of repairs. If someone drops their phone in the mandi, they bring it to me to fix the screen or the buttons. I spend most of my day sitting behind a small glass counter with a screwdriver in my hand. It’s a small shop and it can get quite cramped when three or four people are waiting. I also sell covers, chargers, and earphones because those things always seem to break or get lost. The noise from the market is constant, but you get used to it after a while. I’ve lived in Sheoganj my whole life so I know most of the people who walk through the door. We don’t have any fancy displays or neon lights. It’s just a simple place where you can get your phone fixed or buy a new one without any fuss. People trust me because I’m honest about what can be fixed and what’s a waste of money. I just try to do a good job for the local folks who work hard every day.
