Kinjal Mobile Point

Being right at the Ranakpur Roadways Bus Stand means Kinjal Mobile Point is always a bit noisy. There are buses pulling in and out all day long, and the drivers are always honking. We get a lot of travelers who realize their phone battery is dead or they need a quick recharge before they catch the next bus out of town. The shop is small, mostly just a glass counter and some shelves for chargers and covers. It gets crowded quickly if more than three people come in at once. We spend a lot of time explaining different data plans to people who are just passing through. Sometimes we fix a cracked screen while someone waits for their ride, though we tell them it might take an hour. The dust from the bus tires is a constant battle for us. We keep a rag handy to wipe down the display cases every hour. It’s not the quietest place to work, but it is never boring. You see people from all over. Some are locals we see every day, and others we will probably never see again. We sell a lot of earphones because people lose them on the bus or they break during long trips. We don't have a fancy waiting area, just a plastic stool if someone needs to sit for a minute. It is a fast-paced little spot in a very busy corner of Ranakpur, and we are usually here from early morning until the last buses leave.
