This is Kamal Photo State & Mobile Shop. You can find us right by the Mill Gate. We’ve been here for a good while now. The main thing we do is photocopying and helping folks with their mobile phone issues. It gets quite dusty because of the heavy traffic on the road, so I’m always wiping down the glass on the copier with a rag. The machine makes a loud humming noise all day long. Students and workers from the mill come in to get their papers copied or to buy a small top-up for their phones. I handle the mobile repairs myself usually. It involves a lot of tiny screws and very small parts. Sometimes my eyes get tired from looking at the small screens for hours. We sell some basic mobile accessories too, like earphones and charging cables that people always seem to lose or break. The shop is small and can get very cramped when three or four people are waiting at the same time. I try to work fast so nobody has to stand around in the heat for too long. It’s a simple setup without anything fancy. I don’t have a big team helping me, just myself and occasionally a cousin who stops by during the busy evening hours. Mill Gate is a busy area with lots of trucks and noise. But it’s a good spot for a business like this. People always need copies of their ID or a quick fix.
