Heena Telecom sits on Station Road 9 and because of the location, things move pretty fast around here. Being near the station means there is a constant stream of people rushing to catch a train or just arriving in town with their bags. They often stop in because they realized their phone is dead or they need a quick recharge. The shop is small and the walls are covered with cards and wires hanging from hooks. It gets very crowded in the evenings when the commuter trains pull in and everyone wants something at the same time. I have a small fan that sits on the counter to keep the air moving, but it mostly just blows the papers around. Station Road 9 is a landmark for some, but for me, it is just where I sit and handle small repairs all day. My hands are usually a bit stained from the tools and the dirt from the devices people bring in. It is not a fancy plaza, just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the noise from the engines outside is so loud we have to stop talking for a minute. The floor is made of grey cement and it shows every bit of mud that people track in from the platform. It is a busy life and there is never a dull moment with the trains constantly coming and going right outside the door.
