Balaji Communication & Collection

Our shop, Balaji Communication & Collection, is right in the middle of the Marwar Sindhi Bazar area. It is a very busy part of town, so there is never a quiet moment here. We mostly spend our days helping people with their mobile phones, doing recharges, and sometimes helping them pay their utility bills. The shop is quite small, so it feels a bit tight when we have more than a couple of customers standing inside. We have some glass counters where we keep basic things like chargers, earphones, and mobile covers that people frequently ask for. The bazar is always full of people and the sound of scooters, so we have to speak up to be heard. We don't really do any advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are because we have been here for a while. Sometimes the internet connection acts up and we have to ask people to wait a few minutes while we restart the computer, which can be a bit frustrating for everyone. But mostly, we just get the job done and move on to the next person in line. It is not a very exciting job, but it is steady and we get to talk to a lot of different people from the neighborhood every day. We open the shutters early and stay until the bazar starts to wind down for the night. We've seen a lot of changes in the bazar over the years, but our little corner stays pretty much the same for now.
