Sumit Engineering Works

Sumit Engineering Works is tucked away in Gala No. 114 at the Meet Industrial Estate. We are located near the Vitawa Hotel, right by Agrwal Naka in Vasai East. It is a busy industrial hub and there is always something going on in the units around us. Our gala is packed with machinery and materials. It isn't a very large space, so we have to stay organized just to have room to walk around. We do a lot of job-work for other factories in the Vasai area. A typical day involves a lot of turning, milling, and checking blueprints that have seen better days. The heat in the industrial estate can be quite something during the summer, but we are used to it by now. We are just a bunch of regular workers who know how to handle steel and aluminum. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. Usually, people find us because someone told them we could handle small batches. We have tea together in the afternoon and talk about the jobs we have for the next day. It is a steady life. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to fix them ourselves, which adds to the workload, but that is part of the business. We focus on getting the measurements right because that is what actually matters at the end of the shift.
