Rd Engineering Works

We are set up at C-7 in the Star Indl Estate, which is right near the Hanuman Mandir in Naik Pada. Rd Engineering Works is basically a machine shop where we take on all kinds of mechanical jobs. It’s a loud place because the generators and the cutting machines are going most of the day. The smell of cutting oil and hot metal is pretty much constant. We don’t have an office with air conditioning or anything like that. Just a desk in the corner with a lot of dusty ledgers and a telephone that rings more than it should. We handle various engineering tasks for the local factories around Naik Pada. It’s mostly just making parts or fixing broken equipment that people bring in. We don't do much in the way of promotion. If people need something engineered or welded, they usually just hear about us from someone else in the Star Indl Estate. The shop gets pretty cluttered with scrap metal, but we clear it out every couple of weeks. It’s just how we operate. We’ve been at this for years and we don't plan on changing much. Rd Engineering Works is a simple place run by people who like working with their hands. We show up early, stay late if we have to, and just get the jobs done. There’s no magic to it, just keeping the tools sharp and making sure the measurements are right before we start cutting.
