Smith Strength Engineering

We run Smith Strength Engineering from a workshop on Samuel Street in Kashimira. This street is full of other small industrial shops, so there is always the sound of work going on. We handle a lot of heavy metal projects and structural pieces. The shop is usually cluttered with steel beams, scraps of iron, and various heavy tools. It looks a bit disorganized to an outsider, but we know where everything is located. We spend most of the day welding and grinding, so there are sparks flying around quite often. It is hot and dirty work, and we are usually covered in soot by the time we finish a shift. We do not have a receptionist or a separate office area. If you come to see us, you will likely have to find us in the back near the welding machines. We just wipe our hands on an old rag before we shake hands or look at a drawing. Most of our customers are from the construction sites nearby. We do not do anything fancy; we just focus on making things that are solid and durable. Samuel Street is narrow, and it can be a real headache when a big delivery truck tries to get in or out. We often have to go out and help direct the traffic. It is a simple, hardworking environment where we just focus on the metal in front of us.
