Sky Engineering

You can find us at Gala No.15 inside the Pilot Industrial Estate in Navghar. This part of town is always noisy because of all the factories and workshops around here. At Sky Engineering, we are right in the middle of it. Our shop is full of metal lathes, drills, and heavy workbenches. It isn't the cleanest place you will ever see because there is always a bit of grease or some metal dust on everything. That is just the nature of engineering work. We spend our mornings getting the machines warmed up and checking the drawings for whatever parts we are making that day. Some of the equipment we use is quite old, but it still works better than the new stuff if you know how to handle it right. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. Usually, if someone comes by, they just walk right into the workshop and shout over the noise of the machines to get our attention. It gets quite hot in here during the afternoons, so we keep the big shutters open to get a bit of a breeze. We just keep our heads down and get the parts machined. It’s hard work on the hands and the back, but it is what we know how to do. We’ve been at this gala for years now and know all the other shop owners nearby.
