Saraswati Convent High School

Our school is located in Vinayak Plaza on Chandansar Road, right in Virar East. Virar is known for being a very fast-paced place, especially with people commuting to Mumbai, and our school reflects that energy. Being in a plaza means we are right above the shops and businesses that make up this part of Palghar. The street noise from Chandansar Road is something we hear all day—mostly the horns and the sound of people walking by. It is a high school, so the students are a bit older and the atmosphere is a bit more serious, but it is still full of life. We do not have a huge campus with grass and trees; instead, we have functional rooms and corridors where the students gather between periods. The office is usually the hub of all the activity, where we manage the attendance and the exam papers. It is often quite warm in the afternoons, and we rely on the ceiling fans to keep things moving. The teachers here have been with us for a while and they know the local area well. We do not spend money on big advertisements; we just rely on being a steady part of the Virar East community. Some days the trains are delayed and it affects when people get here, but we just adjust and keep going. It is a no-nonsense kind of place where we focus on the daily routine and getting the students through their classes every single week.
