Santhome Public School

Santhome Public School is on Kanakia Road, over in Mira Road, Thane. It is at Plot No 270, if you are looking for the exact spot. This area is extremely crowded and there is always something going on outside the gates. We have got a lot of families living in the nearby apartment blocks who send their kids to us. The school is a big building and we have to use the space wisely because it is Thane and space is tight. You can hear the traffic from the classrooms sometimes, but the kids are used to it. We have a lot of students, so the hallways are always full during the breaks. The uniforms are bright and you can see them from a distance when school lets out. We have a staff that works hard to keep everything on schedule. It is not a fancy private academy with a golf course, it is just a regular public school for the local community. We have a small area for sports and the morning assembly happens in the main courtyard. Parents are always coming in to check on things or pay fees. It is a very practical place. We just try to keep the fans running and the lights on so the teaching can happen. It is a busy, noisy, and lively school that fits right into the neighborhood.
