Zilla Parishad School

Zilla Parishad School is right here in Vikramgad, which is part of the Palghar district. It is a local place for children in this area to come and learn every day. Most of us here are used to the quiet and slow pace of life in Vikramgad. The building itself is very simple, nothing fancy at all, just classrooms and a place for kids to run around during the breaks. You can find us at the address in the 401605 area. In the mornings, you see the students walking down the dirt paths from nearby houses. Some of the walls have been painted over the years, but the benches are the same ones we've had for a long time. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but that is just how it is in this part of Palghar. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Usually, you’ll find the staff sitting in the main room or just standing outside when the weather is nice. The playground isn't very big, but it serves its purpose for the younger ones who like to play tag. People in the village know us well because we've been around for quite a bit. There is no big sign or flashing lights, just the school name on the front gate. We keep things going day by day, making sure the rooms are swept and the books are ready for the morning. It's a straightforward place with a lot of history in the local community of Vikramgad. We just do our work.
