Don Bosco High School & Junior College

You can find Don Bosco High School & Junior College out on Vasai Road in Naigaon East. We’ve been part of the Palghar area for a long time now. It’s a big building with lots of classrooms for both the younger kids and the college students. Every morning, the gates open and hundreds of students come walking in from the station or the nearby neighborhoods. It’s always a bit of a rush at the start of the day. We have the usual stuff you’d expect—desks, benches, blackboards, and a playground that gets a lot of use during break time. The teachers here have been around for years, and they just get on with the job of teaching the syllabus. We don't go in for anything too flashy. The focus is just on the lessons and making sure everyone follows the rules. Naigaon East has changed a lot since we started, but the school stays pretty much the same. We deal with everything from noisy hallways to exam stress every single year. It’s a lot of paperwork and managing schedules, but that’s just how running a school and college works. Parents come in for meetings, and we talk about how the kids are doing. It's straightforward. We’re just here to provide a place for the local kids to get through their schooling and move on to whatever they want to do next. It keeps us busy from August until the final exams in the summer.
