Being in Royal Shopping Centre on Ambadi Road means we are right in the middle of everything in Vasai West. Our address is A/ 201, and if you have been to this part of Thane, you know how crowded it gets. Having a school inside a shopping center sounds a bit strange to some people, but it works for us. The students come up the stairs past the shops, and they are used to the hustle. It is definitely not a quiet place, especially in the evenings when the market picks up. We have our classrooms set up across the floor, and we try to keep things tidy despite the dusty air coming off the main road. The staff spends a lot of time organizing the daily timetable and making sure there is enough chalk and paper for everyone. It is a practical setup for the families living in the nearby apartments because it is easy to reach. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out with the windows open. We do not have fancy decorations or big statues; it is just walls, desks, and a lot of books. Most of our day is spent talking to students or dealing with the admin work that never seems to end. We have been at this location for some time now, and we are just another part of the Ambadi Road scene. It is a bit noisy and a bit cramped, but it is our workplace.
