Saraswathi Matriculation Higher Secondary School

Shantivan is a quiet area usually, but having a school in Row House No 2 changes that. We have been operating out of this Mira Road spot for a while now. It is not like those giant campuses you see in movies; it is a row house that we have turned into a learning space. This means things are a bit tight sometimes, but it feels more like a home than a cold institution. In the mornings, you see the kids lined up near the entrance of Shantivan, and the neighbors are used to the noise by now. Mira Bhayandar Road is always jammed, so getting here can be a bit of a headache for the staff coming from further away. Inside, we have rooms divided up for the different standards. It is a lot of stairs to climb every day, which keeps us on our toes. We do not have a massive playground, so the kids make do with the small space we have out front. The office is usually piled with folders and notebooks because there is always something to sign or check. We keep the windows open for air, but the Thane humidity still gets in. People in the area know us as that school in the row house. We just do our work, teach the classes, and head home when the final bell rings. It is a straightforward life here in Mira Road, nothing too complicated about it. We just keep at it.
