Saiman Engineers

Our workshop is located in the Hari Bhakti Industrial Estate on Old Ghod Bunder Road, at unit D/3. If you are familiar with this part of the city, you know it is packed with small factories and engineering shops just like ours. We do various kinds of engineering work, mostly focusing on repairs and making small parts for other businesses. It’s a bit of a dusty environment because of all the grinding and drilling we do every day. We have some old lathes and a milling machine that have been around for a long time. They aren't new, but they still work perfectly if you know how to handle them. I have been working in this estate for over fifteen years now. The commute on Ghod Bunder Road can be really frustrating with all the heavy truck traffic, so I usually try to get in very early to avoid the rush. We don’t have a big sign outside to attract attention. Most of our customers are other people from the industrial estate or businesses nearby. They know they can just walk in and ask us to fix something. We always keep a pot of tea ready for anyone who stops by to discuss a job. It is not the kind of place that looks pretty, but it is where real work gets done. We just keep our heads down and work through whatever orders we have on the desk.
