Sabita Engineering Works

Sabita Engineering Works is located in the Shakti Industrial Estate. We’re at Gala No. 6, which is part of Survey No. 24/1/A. It’s near the Anand Compound in the Fanas Pada area of Waliv, over in Vasai East. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the address, but once you’re in the industrial estate, we’re not too hard to find. The workshop is usually full of the sound of grinding and welding. It’s a tough environment, but it’s where we feel most comfortable. We started this place because we wanted to work for ourselves. It’s been a long road, and the shop has seen a lot of changes over the years. We’ve added more machines and we’ve got a couple more guys helping out now. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and the air smells like burnt oil, which is pretty standard for a place like this. We don’t really have an office to speak of, just a small corner with a filing cabinet and a chair that’s seen better days. We spend our time focusing on the projects that come in. Some are small fixes and others take us a week or more to finish. We don't make a big deal out of things. We just take the work as it comes and try to do a solid job. It’s a local business, run by people who live right here in Vasai. We keep it simple.
