S. H. Engineering Works

If you're looking for S. H. Engineering Works, you have to head back behind the Jai Mataji estate. We’re in Gala No. 6 at Gayatri Industrial Estate. It’s near that Ekvira gas godown road in Bhayander East. The area gets pretty noisy with all the different workshops around here, and we contribute our fair share of that sound too. Working with metal and machines means there is always something humming or clanking in the background. We’ve been in this spot for a good bit of time now. The space isn't huge, but it fits our lathes and tools well enough. Sometimes the road outside gets a bit dusty with all the trucks moving in and out of the industrial area. We usually start early in the morning before it gets too hot inside the gala. It's mostly hands-on work, getting grease on our clothes and making sure the parts are right. We aren't big on fancy office stuff. There is a small desk in the corner for bills and such, but most of our time is spent out on the floor. It's a grit and hard work kind of place. Neighbors around here are mostly other small shops doing similar things, so we all kind of know each other. Finding us can be tricky the first time because of how the buildings sit behind each other, but once you see the sign for Gala 6, you’re there. We just keep the machines running.
