Ratan Industrial Engineers

Our shop is number 11 in the Manish Industrial Estate No. 2, located over in Navghar. It’s near Vasai Road East, which is a very busy area for small industries and workshops like ours. We’ve been operating out of this specific unit for a long time. It’s a typical industrial estate setup, where everyone knows their neighbors and we all deal with the same daily quirks of the location. The space is always filled with tools, workbenches, and whatever project we happen to be finishing up this week. We are industrial engineers by trade, which basically means we spend our time figuring out how to make things work better or fixing things that have stopped. It’s very hands-on work. We don’t have a receptionist or a big lobby; you just walk in and talk to whoever is available at the time. Most of us have been doing this for many years, so we’ve seen all sorts of mechanical issues. Vasai is a good place to be because there are plenty of vendors nearby if we need a specific part or some raw material quickly. We keep it pretty simple here. We work hard, take our tea breaks when we can, and try to make sure every job that leaves the shop is done the right way. It’s not always pretty, and the floor is definitely lived-in, but we take pride in the actual labor. That’s just the way things are done at Ratan.
