Microtech Engineering Works

Microtech Engineering Works is located in the Rajprabha Udhyog Nagar Extension in Vasai East. We’re in Building 3, specifically Gala number 25 and 26. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you’re coming from the main part of Thane, but we’re right opposite Golani Naka near Valiv Village. It’s a real industrial hub. The sound of machines is basically the background music for our whole day. We focus on engineering parts and custom work for other shops. Our space is filled with lathes and various tools; there isn't much room for anything else. We started out with just one small gala and eventually took the one next door because we needed more space for the machines. It’s dusty and noisy, but that’s just how engineering works are. We don’t wear suits here. Most of the time we’re covered in a bit of grease or metal shavings. We’ve been in the Valiv area for a long time, so we know all the other shop owners around us. We help each other out when a machine breaks or someone is short on material. It’s a tight community of workers. We don’t have a marketing team or a fancy website. People usually hear about us from someone else who had work done here. We just try to make the parts right so they don't come back broken.
