Magma Industries

If you head out to Navghar in Vasai East, you will find Magma Industries at number 27 in the Pilot Industrial Estate. It is a busy area, especially in the mornings when all the workers are arriving and the tea stalls are doing a brisk business. Our unit is basically a large workshop with some space for the admin side of things. It can get pretty hot inside during the summer months, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze there is. There is usually a lot of clanging and the smell of metal in the air. We aren't the kind of place that has a polished reception area with someone waiting to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us working on something. We do a lot of the heavy work ourselves. Our desks are covered in sketches, measuring tools, and half-empty cups of chai. It is a bit of a chaotic look, but we know exactly where every tool and piece of material is kept. The roads in the estate aren't the best, so we spend a lot of time navigating potholes when we are moving goods out. It is hard work and it is often dirty, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing a finished product ready to go. We just stay focused on the day-to-day tasks and try to keep our machines running without too many breakdowns.
