Kalyani Mould Base P.Ltd.

We've been at Raju Indl. Estate for a while now. Most people know us as Kalyani Mould Base P.Ltd. but around here we are just the guys making the bases. Mira Road East has changed a lot since we moved into Unit 14. The roads get crowded in the mornings and the monsoon always makes things a bit messy, but we keep the machines running. We spend most of our time looking at metal blocks and figuring out how to cut them right. It’s not fancy work. Our office is tucked in the back and sometimes it gets loud when the neighbors are busy. We don’t really do big meetings or anything like that. Usually, it's just a few of us talking over tea about what needs to get out the door by Friday. We started with just a couple of machines and slowly added more as things picked up. It's a practical place. We don't have a reception desk or a shiny lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone in greasy overalls first. The address says Post Mira but everyone just calls it Mira Road. It’s a good spot for us because the suppliers are close. We just get on with it. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big order comes in, but that’s just how it goes in an industrial estate. We’ve seen other shops come and go, but we’re still here at the same old spot.
