Kalpesh Engineering Works

Kalpesh Engineering Works is located over in Vasai East, specifically at Q/5 in the Sagar Industrial Estate. We are part of the K N Dhumal Nagar area, which is always busy with trucks coming and going. If you are trying to find the place, we are right behind the Rashmi Bungalow in Waliv. It is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the station, but this is where all the engineering happens. The workshop isn't anything special to look at. We have our lathes and machines set up in a way that works for us. Palghar gets quite humid, so the shop floor can get a bit sticky in the afternoons. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work on various parts. It is a local operation through and through. Most of the guys here have lived in the area for years. We do not spend much time on paperwork or sitting in offices. Most of the day is spent handling metal and checking dimensions. You might see some scrap piles outside the door because we are always in the middle of a project. People stop by when they need something fixed or fabricated. We have a routine that hasn't changed much over the seasons. It is just about showing up, doing the engineering work, and keeping the machines running until it is time to head home.
