Jitesh Engineering Works

Jitesh Engineering Works is tucked away in Bhayander East, near the Balaram Patil Cross. It’s a local neighborhood where everyone kind of knows everyone else. Our workshop is a practical space, mostly filled with raw materials and the smell of cut metal. We don’t have any polished floors or bright lights. Just a few tube lights and the sunlight coming through the door. Usually, you’ll find two or three of us bent over a machine, trying to figure out a tricky part. We started small and stayed that way because it works for us. The crossroad outside is always dusty and there is a lot of movement from the local shops. We spend most of our time dealing with measurements and metal shavings. There’s always a pile of scrap in the corner waiting to be cleared out. We don’t really do fancy presentations. If someone needs something done, they just bring the drawing or the part and we see what can be done. It’s a straightforward way of working. The rain gets a bit loud on the roof during the monsoon, making it hard to talk, but we just keep going. We've got our routine down. Morning starts with cleaning the tools, and the rest of the day is just the grind. It's not glamorous, but it’s the work we have been doing for years now in Bhayander.
