Balaji Engineer

Balaji Engineer is out at Plot No J-244 in the MIDC area of Tarapur. This is in the Palghar district, which is quite a way out from Mumbai. Being in the Tarapur industrial zone means we are surrounded by all kinds of other engineering and manufacturing units. Our plot is where we do all our fabrication and technical work. It’s not a glamorous place, just a functional workshop where we spend our hours. The commute can be a bit long for some of us, but that’s just how it is when you work in an industrial hub like this. We have the usual setup of tools and machinery that you’d expect to see in a place like ours. Some of it is older, but it works just fine for what we need. We don't bother with much paperwork beyond what is necessary to keep things moving. Most of our interactions are with other businesses in the MIDC or regular clients who have been coming to us for years. The air in Tarapur always has that industrial smell, and the noise from the nearby plots is something you stop noticing after a few days. We are just a group of people who know how to work with metal and machines. We don't make big claims about what we do; we just take the orders and finish them as they come. It’s a steady life.
