Jay Ambika Engineering Works

We spend most of our days at Gala No. 34 in Azad Nagar. It is a busy spot tucked between Waliv Golani Naka and the Marchant Info Estate. If you walk down the lane, you will hear the sound of machines running pretty much all day long. The shop floor is usually covered in a bit of metal dust and oil because that is just the nature of what we do here at Jay Ambika Engineering Works. There are tools everywhere and sometimes it looks a bit messy to an outsider, but we know where every single wrench and bolt is kept. Most of the guys here have been working with these machines for years. We deal with various metal parts and mechanical fixes that come our way from the neighboring units. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the roof, so we usually take a small tea break near the Naka to catch some air. The location is a bit tricky to find if it is your first time because of how the estates are laid out, but once you see the sign opposite Marchant Info, you are there. We just focus on getting the jobs finished on time and making sure the dimensions are right. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the shutters go down in the evening. There is always something to weld or grind and we just get on with it without much fuss.
