Albert Super Grinding Works

You can find us at Manish Industrial Estate No.4, in Unit Number 8. We’re located in the Navghar area of Vasai East. It's an industrial zone, so it’s always busy with trucks and other workshops around us. We do grinding work here, mostly for various metal parts that come in from other factories. The machines are heavy and they make a lot of noise when they’re running. There’s usually a fine dust in the air from the metal being smoothed out. We wear goggles and ear protection because it gets quite intense. The workspace is filled with stacks of metal pieces waiting their turn. We have a schedule we try to stick to, but sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the morning fixing it instead. It’s a lot of precision work even if it looks messy. We check the measurements with calipers to make sure things are right. The lighting isn't the best, so we have extra lamps over the benches. It's hot work, especially during the middle of the day. We’ve been in this unit for a while and have a rhythm going. We get some regular customers who drop off batches of work every week. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get the pieces finished by the time they’re needed. It’s hard work but it’s what we do here every day to keep the machines humming along.
