You can find Dharashiv Agrotech Industries Farmer Producer Company Limited in the village of Moha, which is in the Kallam taluka of Osmanabad. We operate out of Shivaji Zori’s house, specifically House Number 138. It’s a local setup where we try to coordinate the farming activities for the people in this area. We aren't some big industry despite the name; it’s mostly just us farmers trying to figure out the best way to process and sell what we grow. The office is really just a room in the house with a few chairs and a table. People come by at all hours to talk about seed quality or the market rates. We don't have a set schedule really, we just work when there is work to be done. Sometimes we are out in the fields for days, so the office stays shut. We try to help our members get better deals on inputs like fertilizer. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with the suppliers. We aren't polished business people. We speak the local language and we know the local struggles. Some years are good and some are pretty bad when the rain fails. We’ve had to learn how to handle all the government paperwork, which is quite a headache for us. It’s a slow process but we’re making some headway.
