Top Gear Driving School

You can find Top Gear Driving School right opposite the Holy Family Church on Kadamba Depot Road in Alto Porvorim. We have been teaching people to drive in this part of Goa for a while. Our school is a simple operation. We have a couple of cars and a small desk where we keep the schedules. Driving in Goa can be tricky with the narrow roads and the tourists, so we make sure our learners get plenty of time behind the wheel in different conditions. We start off in quieter spots before heading out to the busier parts of Porvorim. It takes a bit of patience to teach someone how to shift gears and watch the mirrors at the same time. We’ve seen all types of students, from nervous teenagers to older adults who finally decided it was time to learn. We don't use any fancy talk or complicated lessons. It is just about practice and getting used to how the car feels. We help with the license application too because the paperwork at the RTO can be confusing if you haven't done it before. Most of our days are spent sitting in the passenger seat, keeping an eye on the road and giving directions. It is a steady job and we like being out and about. If you are near the church, you will probably see one of our cars with the big 'L' sign parked nearby.
