Sai Motor Driving School

We are located in the Classic Apparment building, over in Porvorim, right by the All India Radio Colony. Being in this part of Goa, we have a mix of quiet backroads and busier stretches like the highway nearby. It’s a good variety for someone learning to drive. We have a small office on the ground floor where we meet the students. Most of the people who come to us live in the colony or nearby in Porvorim. We keep the lessons simple. We start in the empty parking lots or quiet streets until the person feels okay with the steering. Then we move on to the traffic. Goa roads can be narrow, so we spend a lot of time teaching how to judge the width of the car. We don't have a huge fleet of vehicles, just a couple that we keep in good shape. The salt air can be tough on the car bodies, so we have to wash and polish them more than usual to stop the rust. We have our own way of doing things, focusing on being patient. Some people take ten days, some take a month. We don't rush anyone because that's how accidents happen. We enjoy the work and the chance to meet different people from the neighborhood. It’s a steady life here, and we’re happy to be part of the local community in 403501. The view during some of our driving routes is actually quite nice, but we tell the students to stay focused.
