Siddhi Motor Driving School

Our driving school is based in an old house in Mapusa, Goa. It’s right next to Subhash Narvekar’s place in Bardez. The house has a lot of character, but we mostly use it as a base for our driving lessons and to store our files. Teaching people to drive in Goa is a bit different because our roads can get very narrow and winding, especially once you get away from the main highway. We use some older cars that are reliable and easy for beginners to handle. Most of the time, I’m out on the road with a student, sitting in the passenger seat with my foot near the extra brake pedal just in case. It takes a lot of patience to teach someone how to reverse or park in tight spots. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. People in Mapusa usually just see our cars driving around and give us a call or stop by the house. We help with the learner’s license and the final driving test too. It’s a lot of back and forth with the RTO office, which isn't fun, but it’s part of the service we provide. We see all kinds of people, from teenagers who are excited to get their first license to older people who finally decided they want to learn. It’s a steady job. We just try to keep the cars in good shape and make sure our students feel safe when they’re out on the road.
